Tango Service Failing to start
If you find your Tango app stuck on the startup scene just displaying hold tight.

This means that the Tango service is failing to start. Usually remedies are:

  • Clearing the Tango Core cache
  • Rebooting the device

If it still continues to fail, start looking at Verbose logs from the device using Android Studio.
The most common log for this is permission issues stopping the device from accessing the Tango hardware.

E/CameraService: Permission Denial: can't use the camera pid=10078, uid=10095

As a last resort before contacting the manufacturer resetting the device to factory defaults can solve these permission issues.
